Upcoming Events 

• Operation No Longer A Secret
  Join Pastor Dale as they spend Wednesday nights canvassing our immediate community with information about Woodlawn Church.  It will be a low key, non-threatening form of evangelism where we introduce ourselves to local residents.  We will be giving them a booklet, information on Woodlawn, and offering to pray either with them or for them.  Please come and join us in helping our congregation to no longer be a secret to those who are within walking distance.
   
• Triple L's Senior Adult Ministry
  - Triple L's Cookbook - Be sure to pick up our newest collection of recipes for only $10.  Copies are available in the lobby.  All proceeds benefit our Triple L's Ministry.
  - Prayer Group - We meet for prayer in the chapel every Tuesday at 1 p.m. and every Thursday at 11 a.m.  Come join us for an hour of prayer together. 
  - Shipshewana Trip - Mark your calendar!  We will be taking a one day trip to Shipshewana, Indiana on Tuesday, August 5th. 
   
• Fun For Families Miniature Golf
  Come and join us on Saturday, July 26th at Royal Oak Golf Center, located at 13 and Coolidge for 18 holes of mini golf and some great family fellowship.  We will begin at 10 a.m. that morning and end around noon.  This outing is suitable for everyone ages 3 and up and the cost is Adults (13-59) $6.50, Juniors (7-12) $4.50, Tots (6-years and younger) $4.25, and Seniors (60 and up) $4.25.  Depending on the number of people we have attending the cost per person could decrease.  Please see Dave and Heather Betts or Melody Peach at the Information Center for further info and to sign-up or register online here  (Pay at the Information Center if signing up online.  We look forward to seeing you there!
   
• Meeting Grounds Ministry
  Do you have a heart for the unsaved?  Are you willing to invite people new to your hometown to Woodlawn Church?  This is a simple way to reach out!  We are supplying names and addresses of new homeowners in your area and door knob hangers with a special welcome to the neighborhood and an invitation to church.  A personal invitation to church may be all someone needs to come!  If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, please contact Mike and Rose Wasilewski at meetingrounds@yahoo.com .
   
• BBQ For Eight
  It's time to mark your calendars for Woodlawn's BBQ For Eight to be held on Saturday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m.  Individuals, married and single, sign up for the event and are placed at host homes.  The great opportunity to become better acquainted with others here at Woodlawn.  Sign up online here.  Contact Kevin or April Flemming for more information.
   
• "Sanctuary" Working Moms Bible Study
  Friday, July 11 at 7 p.m. join us for fellowship and a biblical study on money.  We will be meeting at Theresa LaClair's home.  Contact Kathy Ganey or Theresa for more information.  Get their contact information by calling the church office. 
   
• Women of Destiny Book Club
  Meeting Saturday, July 12th at 9:30 a.m. in the Harvest Room.  We meet monthly to discuss our last month's reading and to have fellowship.  Please contact Barb Collins or Suzanne Whitlock for additional information.  Childcare will not be provided for this event.
   
• "Red Hat" Roses Diamond Jack River Boat Outing
  July 12th we will be meeting at the church at 11 a.m., having some lunch and then taking the boat ride at 1 p.m.  Senior's tickets are $11 with AAA and AARP.  Contact Marge Price or Marilyn Ruedisueli for more information.
   
• Berean's Single Adult Ministry Cookout
  Singles, come out and join us at Pastor Dale and Jamie Hunters home on Saturday, July 26th.  Please bring a dish to pass.  More information will be coming soon.
   
• Woodlawn Library Open to Members
  Located in Room D at the end of the hallway past the Choir Room.  After you borrow a book, just bring it back and drop it off on the "return" table in the library.  There is no set time limit as to how long you can borrow a book.  Bibles and Concordances must be signed out.  You will find a list to enter you name and the title of the book.  The library is available to Woodlawn members before and after services and during office regular hours (Mon. - Fri. 9am to 4pm).  If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Collins or Joyce Schroeter.
