• Men's Retreat 2010
  We are having our 2010 Men's Retreat at Maumee Bay Resort and Conference Center, April 22-24th.  It is a luxury, four-star resort with a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities.  Reservation spots are limited and we anticipate a sell out, so why not take the time and allow the Lord to minister and bless you during this wonderful retreat!  The retreat is open to all men, teens (16 and older) through senior adults.  Deadline for Registration is this Sunday, March 14th.  More details can also be found in the Men's Retreat binder at the Information Center or at the Maumee Bay Resort website.
   

• Ignition Mission's Guatemala Benefit and Silent Auction
  Help our young people raise money for our trip to Guatemala this June.  We will be spreading the Word and God's love from June 19 - 30, 2010.  Invite friends and family members to a fun and delicious dinner while helping to support the youth of Woodlawn Church!  Tickets are on sale at the church Information Center for $7 each.  Have something you can donate to the silent auction?  If so, contact Marilyn Ronan in the church office by phone or at office@woodlawn.org.
   

• Outdoorsman Ministry Dinner
  Our annual Dinner has been scheduled for Saturday, March 13th at 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room of the church.  We will be serving home made venison chili and smoked pork.  Our Guest Speaker is Ken Wilson: and avid outdoorsman, sportsman, and missionary with the NAMB.  Tickets are sold out for this event.
   

• Sunday Class "Foundations of Faith"
  Join Pastor Dale Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Since you became a Christian, have you ever wondered what's next?  The process of growing and developing in your faith is essential.  The good news is we are offering a class which will include how to read the Bible, pray, fast, wage spiritual warfare, and receive and manifest the baptism of the Holy Spirit and His gifts. 
   

• The Bridge @ 3620 (A Gathering Of Young Adults 18 to twenty-something)
  Meeting Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm in room "O" for fellowship and then have Bible Study and discussion at 8:48 p.m. 

• Zumba Fitness
  We will be getting together on Tuesdays and Thursday nights thru May 26th, 2010 for some great exercise and a lot of fun!  Join us upstairs in the Kydz Church room at 7 p.m.  No sign up is necessary - this is a free workout!  Contact Mary Cronberger if you have any questions.
   
• Triple L's Senior Adult Ministry
  - Birthday Lunch - We will be celebrating our March birthdays with a luncheon on Wednesday, March 17th.  Meet us in the Harvest Room at 12 pm and bring a dish to pass.  Contact Pastor Jo if you have any questions.
  - Prayer Group - We meet for prayer in the chapel every Tuesday at 1 p.m. and every Thursday at 11 a.m.  Come join us for an hour of prayer together.
   
• Ladies Bible Study
  Meeting together in the Harvest Room every other Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  Led by Linda little.  All ladies welcome to come!  Next Study March 19th.  No childcare will be available.
   
• Men's Golf League
  Please sign up here if you are interested in golfing in the league this year.  Think Spring!  We will begin in April - the date will be announced.  See Bob Macfarlane if you have any questions.
   
• Berean's Single Adults
  -Friday, March 19th, 7 p.m. - Study at Larry Cheek's home.  Please bring a snack to share.
  - Sunday, March 21st, following the church service - Lunch at Famous Dave's on Rochester Rd., north of Auburn Rd., in Auburn Hills.
   
• Women of Destiny Book Club
  Meeting Saturday, March 6th at 9:30 a.m. in the Harvest Room.  Contact Barb Collins or Suzanne Spicer if you have questions.  Childcare is not provided for this event.
   
• Woodlawn Library Open to Church Members
  Located in Room D at the end of the hallway past the Choir Room.  After you borrow a book, just bring it back and drop it off on the "return" table in the library.  There is no set time limit as to how long you can borrow a book.  Bibles and Concordances must be signed out.  You will find a list to enter you name and the title of the book.  The library is available to Woodlawn members before and after services and during office regular hours (Mon. - Fri. 9am to 4pm).  If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Collins or Linda Webster.
