Upcoming Events 

• Wednesday Night Class
  A 12 Week class led by Pastor Mike will be starting on September 8th at 7 p.m.  Understanding and Applying The Book of Revelation: For a detailed description of this new class, click here.
   

• Corn Roast
  Our annual Church Picnic and Corn Roast will be held on September 1st at Clawson Park.  Tickets and sign up will be available in the lobby next week.  Cost is $2/ages 13 and up, $1 ages 3 to 12.  Bring a dish to pass, drinks for your family, lawn chairs, blankets, and outdoor games.  The church is providing chicken and corn as well as plates, cups napkins, and utensils.  Tickets are on sale Sundays mornings after service.  Deadline to buy tickets has passed.
   

• Bake Sale
  The Triple L's and the Bereans' are joining together for a Bake Sale to be held on Sunday, September 19th, after the service.  The sale will be located in the hallway near the the church office.  Don't miss out on these delicious homemade baked goods!
   

• Ladies' Bible Study
  The group led by Linda Little will be meeting in the Harvest Room twice a month.  Our first meeting in the fall is on Friday, September 10th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  Childcare is not provided.
   

• Berean's Single Adult Ministry Study
  Friday, September 10th at 7pm at Ann Thornton's home.   Please bring a snack to share.
   

• The Bridge @ 3620 (A Gathering Of Young Adults 18 to twenty-something)
  Meeting Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm in room "O" for fellowship and then have Bible Study and discussion. 
   
• Triple L's Senior Adult Ministry
  - Birthday Lunch - We will be celebrating birthdays on Wednesday, September 15th.  Meet in the Harvest Room at 12:00 noon and bring a dish to pass.  All seniors welcome!  Invite a friend!
  - Shipshewana Trip - September 21-22 join us for a fun trip!  Sign up at the Information Center if you are interested.  We will need a count to make the reservations.
  - Prayer Group - We meet for prayer in the chapel every Tuesday at 1 p.m. and every Thursday at 11 a.m.  Come join us for an hour of prayer together.
   
• Rummage Sale Donations needed
  The Triple L's Rummage and Bake Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 15 & 16th.  There will be a meeting for all volunteers on Sunday, October 3rd, after the service.  Donations of items to sell will be accepted October 11 - 14th.  For more information please contact Rose Wasilewski.
   
• Women of Destiny Book Club
  Saturday, September 11th we will be meeting in the Harvest Room at 9:30 a.m.  Contact Barb Collins or Cathy Frank for more information.  No childcare will be provided.
  
  Woodlawn Library Open to Church Members
  Located in Room D at the end of the hallway past the Choir Room.  After you borrow a book, just bring it back and drop it off on the "return" table in the library.  There is no set time limit as to how long you can borrow a book.  Bibles and Concordances must be signed out.  You will find a list to enter you name and the title of the book.  The library is available to Woodlawn members before and after services and during office regular hours (Mon. - Fri. 9am to 4pm).  If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Collins or Linda Webster.
