WOMEN'S GROUPS AND MINISTRIES
Women of
Destiny Book Club
Meet with us each month as we discuss a new book and spend time together
in fellowship. Each book chosen provokes fascinating conversation and
spiritual growth among the group. We meet once a month on a Saturday
morning. No childcare is provided. Watch your bulletin for upcoming
dates and book titles. Contact Barb Collins or Cathy Frank for more
information.
Ladies Bible Study
This Group meets twice a month on Friday mornings at 9:30
a.m. in our Harvest Room. It is lead by Linda Little.
Childcare is not provided for this group. If you would like more
information, please contact the church office at 248-588-6272. *This
Study will resume after the holiday.
Woodlawn Women’s Workout Group
We welcome all
ladies to join us Tuesdays and Thursdays for a time of exercise and fellowship! Bring a
friend! We start at 7 p.m. in Kydz Church. On Tuesday we have a
beginner class of Pilates (with an instructor) and a video of Walk Away
the Pounds—2 mile. On Thursday we will do 45 minutes of workout together
for the month of January! Contact Marilyn Ronan if you would like more

Ladies Weekly Lunch
Any ladies are welcome to join us! We meet every Tuesday at the Red
Olive in Clawson (on 14 Mile at Crooks) at 11:00 a.m. See Rose
Waselewski or Ida Daugherty if you have any questions.
S.I.N.G.L.E. Moms with Purpose
This group provides an opportunity for Moms to meet and mingle and share
their life with other single moms. We have various types of
get-togethers and chances for fellowship. Contact Heather Wilson for more
information.
Girls Night Out Ministry
For gals of all ages! We go to various restaurants around town every other month
and give mom’s a chance to get away and enjoy a fabulous dinner and time
with friends. Great opportunity to meet new friends and have some fun.

Couples
Ministry
For Young Adults, this ministry gives an opportunity to get to know each
other by developing new friendships. We go out to dinner, have game
nights, or go bowling among other fun events. If you would like more

Knitting/Crocheting Group
This group has the opportunity to meet on Monday mornings or Thursday
evenings a couple times a month. It is headed up by Barb Collins and
Judy Delargy. If you would like to know more information and find

MEN’S MINISTRIES
Promise Keepers
These groups are comprised of men meeting in a small group setting
with other men to share their similar life issues and their friendship.
This life-changing ministry gives opportunity to learn from one another,
pray for one another and strengthen one another. Each group meets at
various days and times. It is not necessary to be a member of Woodlawn
Church to attend these groups. Contact the

office to find out the times and to find out more information.
Watch our weekly bulletins for other events and groups for men throughout
the year like the Annual Men's Retreat, Prayer Breakfasts, Motorcycle
rides, and Men's Golf League.
OTHER MINISTRIES
Outdoorsman Ministry
Fishing, Hunting, Golf, Softball, Motorcycle trips and other events make this ministry perfect for
anyone
looking for friendship and fun. Events include a yearly fishing
tournament, Softball, bow shooting, and ice fishing. Woodlawn members Invite neighbors, relatives and friends

Project Hope
If you are looking for a way to bless others
and involved in a more hands on way...than Project Hope is for you.
This ministry collects and distributes particular items to the poor and
homeless. Special collections will be taken throughout the year as
announced and then distributed during outreach dates throughout the year.
Watch for announcements regarding this ministry in your bulletin, on the
web and on Sunday mornings.

3620 (18 to 20 Somethings)
For those who have graduated from high school and are in the "18 to
twenty-something" age of life, we have fellowship and study each
Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. upstairs in room "O". We desire for young adults in our church to have a place
