Summer Camp
Note: Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, Woodlawn has determined that we will not offer summer camp this 2020 season. Please know that the Cemetery grounds are open for walking each day between 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and we hope you will continue to enjoy our grounds.
Woodlawn offers an exciting summer educational camp for children grades 1 – 7. At Camp Woodlawn children make music, and art, learn about the natural world, and explore history – in a small group setting and with experienced and caring instructors. Camp Woodlawn brings alive the history of our great neighborhood and city, celebrates the lives and achievements of those who came before us and sparks curiosity and passion in the leaders of tomorrow.
Camp is a 4 week session and campers may participate in any or all of the sessions. Camp activities include plenty of outdoor time, history hunts, map reading activities, arts and crafts, reading workshops, tree identification walks, and more! Children will make music and art inspired by the works of our notable musicians and artists. You can register to attend Camp Woodlawn here www.CampWoodlawn.org.
