Each building is designed with individual crypts and niches that are crafted to last in a dry, clean and ventilated environment. Beautiful granite fronts will greet passersby as they walk through the tastefully landscaped grounds lining the path through Maple. The Maple Mausoleum provides you with the following:

KNOLLWOOD MAUSOLEUM COMPLEX

Situated directly across from the Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz, neighboring with the gravesite of Fiorello LaGuardia, and near Woodlawn’s legendary Jazz Corner with its most notable gravesites of Duke Ellington, Max Roach, and Lionel Hampton, the Knollwood Mausoleum Expansion Development provides a mix of the following:

• Mausoleum crypts for above-ground burial
• Granite niches for cremation
• Glass front niche spaces for cremation

Hillcrest Mausoleum Complex

Situated at the highest point in the cemetery, the Hillcrest Mausoleum’s serene setting overlooks some of Woodlawn’s most notable gravesites, including those of jazz greats Max Roach, Lionel Hampton, Duke Ellington, and the Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz.

This unique cemetery-within-a-cemetery complex provides:
